03 Apr Made Local Marketplace
My sister, Boo, and I were vendors at the Made Local Marketplace in Columbus last Saturday. We managed to get our tables next to each other (trouble), which made it quite enjoyable. My mom even braved the rain/sleet/snow that greeted us throughout the day to be our biggest supporters.
My sister’s booth was adorable and I’m constantly in awe of the new products she creates. My booth was pretty similar to the first Made Local Marketplace back in December. I added a few new products but stuck mostly to bibs, burp cloths, crinkle toys, minky blankets, and onesies. I tried out some different fabrics, which is always fun. We had more traffic than the holiday show and the day went by relatively fast. My Aunt, Uncle, and second cousins even stopped by. We were slightly delirious on the snowy drive home and thought we were hilarious (think bad jokes and puns), but we somehow made it, safe but exhausted.
*Here is a link to an interview I did for Simply Vague before the show.
I’ll be at the Crafty Supermarket at the Clifton Cultural Arts Center on April 26th. If you are local, I would love to see you there!
